The Ruidoso Public Library Teen Scene is a weekly club offering creative, hands-on programs and recommended reading just for teens ages 11 to 18.

Ruidoso Public Library has created “Love Stories: A Special Collection” to give a voice to our patrons and create a special collection at the Ruidoso Public Library. This collection aims to archive audio stories from our patrons and help future generations learn about our community, history, and patrons’ lives.
This supportive writer’s group is for anyone wondering how to publish a book and is looking for help navigating the ins and outs of self-publishing. Meets biweekly on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month at 3 PM.

Readers are everywhere, so books should be too. That’s the idea behind the Ruidoso Public Library’s initiative to make reading more accessible to the community — the Tiny Library program. A Tiny Library is a miniature community center for sharing books. It’s hyper-local—located at the White Mountain Complex and All American Park— and it’s free, easy, and fun. All genres and reading levels are encouraged.

This program is a great resource for tech-savvy kids, and teaches them the joy of reading in a format they’ll love. Tumblebooks include puzzles, National Geographic short film clips and so much more!
HelpNow provides students of all ages with live online tutoring and homework help in English and Spanish from 2pm - 11pm, and includes 24/7 access to a comprehensive library of interactive tests, including academic skills assessments, standardized tests, and New Mexico-aligned tests.
