June is Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). This month, we raise awareness of PTSD, encourage people to support those affected, and help to remove the stigma associated with the disorder. About 6% of the U.S. population will have PTSD at some point in life, and about 12 million adults in the U.S. have PTSD during a given year. Find information and resources about PTSD at your local library.
Raise awareness by committing to any activity, whether it's 30 minutes one day or something every day. Register online at https://public.govdelivery.com/accounts/USVHA/signup/32140, get your BIB, and STEP UP for PTSD awareness in June!
