Help Us Name the Library’s Newest Ambassador!

The Ruidoso Public Library has a new teddy bear friend, and now it needs a name. This friendly blue bear will serve as a library ambassador, appearing at programs, community events, and in the library’s digital spaces throughout the year.

We’re inviting the community to help by submitting name ideas and later voting on the finalists. Library visitors, families, and readers of all ages are encouraged to take part in naming the library’s newest ambassador.

Submit a Name >>

March 16 – April 13

Have a great name idea for our new library bear? We’d love to hear it.

Community members can submit name suggestions using our online form. Children may also participate in person through a library submission box.

After the submission period closes, library staff will review the entries and select a group of finalist names for the final round of voting.

Need a little inspiration?

Here are a few playful ideas to get the creativity flowing:

• Dewey – a nod to the Dewey Decimal System

• Page – perfect for a book-loving bear

• Story – celebrating the stories found at the library
