Enjoy a unique opportunity to explore our closest star. The Ruidoso Public Library, in collaboration with the Sunspot Solar Observatory and New Mexico State University, invites the community to safely observe the Sun through specialized solar telescopes.

Participants will be able to view sunspots and other solar activity while learning about the science behind solar observation. Library staff and observatory experts will be on hand to guide the experience.

This family-friendly program is open to all ages.
