Young readers are invited to take part in the Land of Enchantment (LOE) Book Awards Battle of the Books at the Ruidoso Public Library.

Each year, children across New Mexico vote for their favorite books from the LOE nominees. To celebrate, the library’s Children’s Department is hosting a special display and reading challenge designed to make the journey even more fun.

How to participate:

• Pick Your Trading Card – Stop by the Children’s Department front desk to choose a Roadrunner, Coyote, or Lizard trading card.

• Power Up – Read books from the LOE nominees list and earn star stickers for your card.

• Evolve & Vote – Collect the required number of stars in each category to cast your vote for the best book.

• Claim Your Prize – Every voter receives a special sticker and an entry into the prize raffle.
